The 1st video below is a spot they did for JBL Speakers. “Ear of the Tornado” has a very fantastic quality – but it’s also an object lesson in how to nail the one shot approach.
In lesser hands, this could easily have turned into a 45 second slog, but here, the pacing is incredible.
The 2nd Video Below is a spot they did for Burt's Bees. It is a Brand History spot all about the company. The use of cut out paper elements, and combination of B&W with color gives the spot a vintage feel. Notice the outlines of drawings throughout, as well as many cut out nature elements, keeping the overall theme of the Burt's Bees Company and their dedication to the earth. They even reference "Nature" as being their CEO.

His Studio, Something Savage was founded on a love for cartoons and technology. Their work blends effortlessly between illustration, moving image, and interaction. Keeping the balance between internal projects and commissioned work, they are constantly developing products, curating community art projects, and producing short films.
The 1st video below is an immersive digital experience launched a few years back for the West Lobby of the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas. It is a kinetic space, centered around 8 giant central columns wrapped with mirrors and LCD screens. Rockwell Group’s LAB installed 384 displays on the columns and 26 behind the registration desk to create a platform for a variety of customized immersive digital experiences in the space. To launch the space, Something Savage created 2 generative animations and a live action dance number choreographed by Jerry Mitchell. Working with the Lab's developers, SS developed the art direction, design and additional animation.
The 2nd video below is an interactive experience they did for Google chrome entitled 'Bravest Man - Bobby Womack' (music is used in the promo). Google Chrome wanted to produce an interactive music video that lived directly in the mobile browser. Working with Advertising Agency B-Reel, Something Savage lead the art direction and animation. They developed the look of the entire piece, and worked with Google's in-house team of developers to bring the project to life mixing in interactive moments.

The 1st video below is their latest reel. At 1:17, notice the tennis spot. Amazing use of tracking /compositing words on to the tennis players as they hit the ball.
The 2nd video below is a Part of a series of Ads designed to illustrate the flexibility and ease of use of the Mobile Betting App from William Hill. It is incredible how they combined intricate 3D scenes of various sport stadium scenarios all sitting on top of a mobile device. Notice the way they tracked type in and around the devices. We have been using devices for marketing here a lot more frequently lately; we could take pointers from this spot, in relation to our block Drama / Comedy campaigns.
